Anthony will also partner with local organizations, work with other North County cities, and maximize county, state and federal funding.

Anthony will work to cut unnecessary red tape, reduce barriers to starting and growing a business, and make City Hall a partner — not an obstacle — to local entrepreneurs. From streamlining business permits to supporting downtown revitalization and shopping districts, Anthony's plan puts local business owners first and ensures Escondido remains a place where entrepreneurs can succeed.
Escondido residents deserve clean, well-maintained neighborhoods. From potholes to traffic congestion, Escondido's infrastructure needs real investment and smart planning. Anthony will advocate for strategic use of Measure I funds as well as other sources of funding to invest in our parks, sidewalks, roads and public spaces that define our quality of life. Clean and safe streets and well-kept public spaces aren't just about appearances — they're about safety, livability and pride in our communities He'll push for better pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, improved public transit connections, and a long-term capital improvement plan that puts the needs of residents first — not developers or special interests.
Anthony recognizes the importance of leveraging Escondido’s arts and culture as an economic driver and a means of building community. He will advocate for investment in the artists and institutions that contribute to the cultural life of the city. By highlighting signature events and businesses, he will work to promote Escondido as a regional destination for arts, culture and local community experiences.
