His Story
Anthony DiMartino didn’t grow up in politics — he grew up in community. Raised with a deep respect for hard work and public service, Anthony has spent his life investing in the kind of neighborhoods where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and residents feel safe and heard.
Before entering the race for Escondido City Council, Anthony built a career grounded in practical problem-solving and community engagement. He’s worked in nonprofits and city and state government, volunteered with at-risk and incarcerated youth, and taught policy advocacy to social works students at San Diego State University.
Now, he’s ready to bring his experiences, passion, and results-driven leadership to City Hall — not as a career politician, but as a servant leader who believes Escondido deserves better.
His Purpose
Escondido is at a crossroads. Residents are concerned about public safety, rising housing costs, aging infrastructure, and a City Hall that too often feels disconnected from the people it serves.
